Process in Week3
Week3 In week 3 we made some more good progress, here is an account of what we achieved: 1. We made a good start on the Sustainability Report. This report is due before we meet in week 4, the group intends on working on the rest of the report during the session for week 3. 2. After discussing the issue as a group, we now collectively understood the concept of fading effect and the code for simulating the second noisy system is also completed. In our simulation, we assume that the bipolar NRZ signalling is transmitted through a long distance by tropospheric and ionospheric propagation with the effect of heavily built-up urban environment. We also assume that this is a flat fading channel and there is no dominant propagation along a line of sight. The channel power gain in this simulation is assumed to be independent of each other. Therefore, the flat-fading channel has memoryless properties. The simplified transmission model is shown below: Figure 1: the simplified model of the bin
